Job Description — Raw Material Executive (Pharma Industry)

Department: Purchase / Supply Chain
Location: zirakpur punjab
Reporting To: Managing Director

Role Objective

To ensure timely procurement, receipt, storage, documentation, and issuance of pharmaceutical raw materials in compliance with GMP, WHO, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of raw materials as per production & planning requirements
• Create purchase requests, RFQs, and vendor follow-ups
• Coordinate with approved vendors and suppliers
• Ensure GRN preparation, material receiving & inspection coordination with QC
• Maintain RM stock levels, safety stock & reorder planning
• Monitor batch numbers, COA, MSDS & regulatory documents
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and segregation as per GMP
• Maintain ERP /MARG entries & material inventory records
• Coordinate material issuance to production (FIFO / FEFO)
• Support vendor qualification & audits (with QA / QC)
• Prepare MIS reports — stock, consumption, and purchase status
• Ensure compliance with WHO-GMP, cGMP, GDP & audit requirements

Key Skills Required

• Good knowledge of pharma raw materials & documentation
• Understanding of GMP / GDP / regulatory compliance
• Experience in inventory control & stock management
• Proficiency in ERP / MARG / Excel
• Strong coordination, communication & negotiation skills

Qualification & Experience

• B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Pharm / B.Com / Diploma (Supply Chain / Material Management)
• 1-2 years’ experience in Raw Material / Stores / Purchase in a Pharma Company

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
