Raw Material Purchase Stores

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Store Raw Material Purchaser with solid experience in refractory, sponge iron, or industrial manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and maintaining optimal stock levels of raw materials used in our production processes. This is a hands-on procurement role requiring a strong understanding of industrial raw materials, vendor negotiation, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure raw materials such as refractory materials, coal, dolomite, and other key inputs.
• Maintain and monitor inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with the store, production, and finance departments for material planning and budgeting.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, stock movements, and vendor performance.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.

Qualifications:

• 6-12 years of experience in raw material procurement within refractory, sponge iron factory sectors.
• Strong knowledge of raw material specifications and industry standards.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software.
• Strong communication, documentation and analytical skills.
• Diploma or degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain or Engineering preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
