Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior management strategies and support their daily living activities. Your expertise in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis will be essential in fostering positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients. We will train the right candidates!
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and self-care skills.
- Collect and document data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
- Provide support in teaching social skills and communication strategies to clients.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities that encourage learning and development.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with special education practices and patient care principles.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation, and record-keeping practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work patiently and compassionately with individuals on the autism spectrum or those requiring behavioral health support.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $27.22 per hour
