RCC Draftsman

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed RCC drawings including footing, columns, beams, slabs, staircases, and foundations.
• Develop structural drawings as per design calculations and engineer’s instructions.
• Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS) and reinforcement detailing.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and site teams for clarifications and revisions.
• Modify and update drawings based on site requirements and review comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes and standards (IS codes).
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Basic knowledge of RCC design concepts and construction practices.
• Ability to read and understand structural drawings.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel (preferred for BBS).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
