R&D Engineer

Qualifications

• Graduated from Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred),
• Minimum 3 years of active experience in production processes within a factory environment,
• Knowledgeable about machinery and equipment in the sheet metal sector (Press, Brake, Roll Form, Mould, etc.),
• Proficient in Autocad (2D-3D) and at least one of Inventor or SolidWorks,
• Advanced written and spoken English skills,
• Strong analytical thinking, research, and fast learning abilities,
• Team player with strong communication skills,
• Creative, open-minded, results-oriented, and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously,
• Developed planning, organization, and reporting skills,
• Approach to process improvement and standardization,
• Experienced in quality, cost, and efficiency improvement projects

Job Description

• Actively participate in factory production processes and gain proficiency in production processes,
• Start in the production department for a certain period, then transition to the R&D department,
• Take an active role in production, R&D, and product development activities,
• Carry out new product, design, process development, and improvement activities with production teams,
• Take an active role in the standardization and digitalization of production processes,
• Actively participate in new product design processes,
• Perform load analyses for requested products (conduct mechanical tests in computer or laboratory environments),
• Interpret technical requests and provide solutions with technical drawings,
• Conduct product analyses, report results, and plan studies to improve accuracy,
• Work in coordination with Production, Quality, and Process departments,
• Conduct competitor analyses and identify differentiation opportunities,
• Evaluate new product ideas and develop market-appropriate strategies.
