R&D Laboratory Assistant

About the position

The R&D Lab Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the research and development team by performing pre- and post-batch tasks that will facilitate lab efficiency and cleanliness. This position is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented and capable of working independently and proactively in a lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist R&D team members with pre- and post-batch tasks to promote lab efficiency.
• Check in and store raw material samples.
• Pull raw material samples in preparation for batches to be made.
• Prepare completed lab batches to send samples to customers, and enter samples in stability program.
• Perform general upkeep and cleaning of lab environment
• Utilize Excel for data management.
• Maintain attention to detail in all tasks.
• Work independently, proactively and efficiently to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Able to walk and stand for hours at a time.
• Able to work in a laboratory environment.
• Able to perform light lifting.
• Knowledge and experience using Excel.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently, proactively and quickly.
• Strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with personal care products and cosmetics.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
