Main Purpose Of The Job

• Responsible for implementing the research plan and supporting the R&D manager in making designs and ensuring the quality of the product during all stages and reducing the problems and defective products.

Key Responsibilities

• perform laboratory work based on the R&D manager's plan
• Implement new product concepts to produce new proprietary blends using products.
• Assist the customer complaint team with technical expertise and make joint visits as needed to meet existing or new customers.
• Prepare technical data sheets for all products and update them when necessary.
• Prepare reports, write technical papers, and type test
• Prepare a daily plan for department work
• Follow up on all instruments and cooperate with maintenance to solve their problems
• Ensure the implementation and compliance of workers with safety and occupational health instructions
• Ensure that regular calibration of equipment and scales is carried out in accordance with the approved quality procedures
• Follow up on the daily needs of all sections related to the department and ensure their availability for continuous improvement
• Ensure the implementation of safety and health instructions
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned to him by the Director of the Department, according to the nature of the work
• Statistical process control.
• ISO awareness.
• Problem Solving/Analysis

Job Requirement:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or a degree in the field of Organic Chemistry / analytical chemistry / Polymer Science / Chemical Engineering
• Years of Experience: 8+ (n Peroxide XLPE (Up to 36 KV), Sioplas XLPE, Low Smoke Halogen Free HFFR, PVC Compounds, Masterbatches, Semiconductive compounds)
• Language: English
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office and the Oracle system would be an advantage
