Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical operations. In this vital role, you will support Periodontists by providing exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring infection control standards are met, and delivering a comfortable, positive experience for every patient. Your skills in dental procedures, technology, and patient communication will help us maintain the highest standards of dental care in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Duties

  • Assist Periodontists during a variety of dental procedures including Gum, Dental implant and full mouth reconstruction surgeries.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as 3D scanners and medical imaging tools while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
  • Manage patient records efficiently within Eaglesoft.
  • Perform vital signs assessment and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures to support overall health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain strict infection control practices using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a sterile environment.
  • Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health best practices to promote ongoing wellness.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or RDA within a specialty setting.
  • Familiarity with Eaglesoft is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dental procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with chairside assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and medical imaging procedures like X-ray taking.
  • Ability to operate dental equipment including 3D scanners, X-ray machines, and other diagnostic tools efficiently.
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
