Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in Burbank, CA. In this vital role, you will support our dental practice by ensuring efficient patient care and assisting with various dental procedures, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional dental services.
Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Manage patient records using EMR systems
• Take X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role

Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft and Dentrix

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices
• Ability to take X-rays and assist in chairside procedures
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Certification in dental assisting is preferred.
