We are a small, quality-oriented dental office seeking a pleasant , friendly and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. We have a great work environment, great staff, and great patients.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while delivering exceptional patient care. We are looking for a candidate who believes that patients should be treated like family, and understands the value of 5 star service.
This role requires understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.

Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing necessary instruments and materials.
- Ensure patient comfort by providing support and reassurance throughout their visit.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Perform all aspects of RDA duties such as coronal polishing and fabrication of temporary crowns.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Assist in various specialties including prosthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry.
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling medical coding when required.
Skills
- Proficient in registered dental assisting techniques with knowledge of general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Understanding of infection control procedures relevant to dental settings.
- Experience with medical records management and medical coding is a plus.
- Ability to perform medical imaging tasks as required by the dentist.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques or procedures in the field.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
