Re-Order Buyer

Kane's Furniture is seeking a Re-Order Buyer to join our Merchandising team! In this role you will work as part of the Merchandising team in bringing the best selection to our amazing clients! The role is critical to provide the amazing selection of products to our 17 locations around the state of Florida. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, detail-oriented candidate to join the fast paced world of merchandising. POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for reordering of merchandise based on forecasts and rate of sale as well as managing the flow of existing purchase orders. Supports the buyer through communication of any / all actions that affect product, product flow and vendor issues. Executes tasks as assigned by the Buying Office to include: purchase order creation, purchase order follow up, product assortment tasks and communication with internal and external parties as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

1. Assumes responsibility for all functions related to Re-Order Buying

• Analyzes rate of sale / attachment rates for products within categories assigned.
• Processes purchase orders to meet appropriate inventory levels.
• Reviews rate of sale to determine revisions necessary for changes in ship dates.

2. Communicates vendor / product related issues with buyer, logistics, stores and vendor as necessary.

• Collaborates with buyer to discuss vendor related changes and issues.
• Communicates any necessary purchase order quantity or ship date revisions to vendors.

3. Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective business relations with vendor partners.

4. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with buying department, logistics and all related departments. Works in tandem with Accounting Department to resolve any purchase order and invoice discrepancies.

5. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required to include administrative tasks. Performs special projects as required
