Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced UI3/Frontend Engineer III with 4-6 years of experience to architect and lead frontend development for the Virima cloud platform. This role demands a seasoned engineer who can own large-sized components/systems, drive technical excellence, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to building scalable, modular frontend architecture using React.js, Redux, Zustand, Next.js, Remix, module federation, and microfrontends.

Component Ownership & Technical Leadership

• Own and architect large-sized frontend components/systems of the Virima platform independently
  

• Design and implement scalable microfrontend solutions using React.js, Next.js, Remix, and module federation
  

• Demonstrate deep understanding of IT Discovery and ITSM domain concepts, translating complex business requirements into robust technical solutions
  

• Drive technical decisions for component and system-level architecture, balancing short-term delivery with long-term maintainability
  

• Build reusable, extensible, and well-documented component libraries using Schadcn, Tailwind CSS, and design system principles
  

• Act as a technical thought partner to product teams, contributing to feature definition
  

Code Quality & Engineering Excellence

• Write clean, maintainable, performant, and highly testable code adhering to industry best practices
  

• Implement comprehensive unit and integration tests achieving >80% code coverage
  

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG) for enterprise-grade applications
  

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with optimal data structure and algorithm selection
  

• Apply advanced patterns for concurrency, state management (Redux, Zustand), and performance optimization
  

• Implement proper error boundaries, loading states, and failure handling mechanisms
  

2. Operations & Execution Excellence

Accountability & Ownership

• Take end-to-end ownership of features from requirements gathering through deployment, monitoring, and production support
  

• Proactively identify and resolve production issues; participate in on-call rotations when needed
  

• Contribute to sprint planning with accurate task breakdowns, effort estimations, and dependency identification
  

• Deliver quality features on committed timelines with minimal rework and high predictability
  

• Drive continuous improvement in team velocity and delivery quality
  

Agile Execution & DevOps

• Provide regular, transparent status updates in team forums and ceremonies
  

• Unblock dependencies efficiently across Product, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams
  

• Lead code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
  

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines, build workflows, and deployment strategies
  

• Monitor application performance metrics and proactively optimize frontend performance
  

• Contribute to observability setup using monitoring tools (Sentry, DataDog, New Relic)

• Act as a technical leader, fostering collaborative engineering culture and high technical standards
  

• Collaborate effectively with Product, Backend, UX/UI Design, QA, and DevOps teams
