Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Ready-Mix Concrete Batcher/Dispatcher for our Ozark, MO plant. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling customer orders, batching concrete, managing drivers’ schedules, and coordinating advance orders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable to last-minute changes, and work closely with drivers and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Batch ready-mix concrete into mixer trucks from the onsite dispatch office.
• Develop daily delivery schedules, manage drivers’ assignments, and maintain communication with customers throughout the day.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with management, team members, and customers.
• Communicate professionally over the phone, maintaining a pleasant and positive tone.
• Quickly resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction while fostering long-term business relationships.
• Handle high call volumes while multitasking between the plant, drivers, and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in ready-mix concrete or dispatching is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and last-minute adjustments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
