Real Estate Agent (In-House Listing Agent)
About the Role
We are launching an in-house listing program at Heritage Home Buyers to better serve the homeowners we work with every day—and we’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Listing Agent to be a key part of that mission.
Our acquisitions team meets with motivated sellers daily. Many want full market value—not a cash offer. Instead of turning them away, we provide a solution: connecting them with a trusted, experienced agent on our team to help them list and sell their home.
In this role, you’ll step in as that advisor—meeting with sellers, securing listings, and helping them achieve the best outcome. You’ll be backed by a proven system, warm leads, and a network of buyers, so you can focus on selling—not prospecting.
We also offer a more consistent and predictable income structure than a traditional agent role, along with full support from a Listing Assistant and Transaction Coordinator—so you can stay focused on what you do best: closing deals and serving clients.
Compensation | How You Will Be Rewarded
- First Year Expected Earnings: $85,000+ annually
- Guaranteed Training Pay: $1,200/week for your first 6 weeks
- Base Pay + Commission After Training: $450/week + $1000 per closed deal
- Paid weekly via direct deposit
- Leads provided + tools to generate your own
Job Duties | What You Will Be Doing
- Meet with homeowners who want to sell at market value and secure listing agreements
- Follow up on warm leads from our acquisitions team and maintain consistent communication
- Serve as a trusted advisor to sellers, providing guidance and upholding fiduciary responsibilities
- Price properties using comps and market data and bring them to market
- Manage buyer activity, showings, and listing performance
- Present and negotiate offers to achieve the best outcome for the seller
- Work with the team to ensure smooth closings and keep deals moving forward
- Track activity and updates in the CRM and participate in weekly team meetings
Job Requirements | What We Are Looking For
- Active Alabama Real Estate License
- 1–3+ years as a licensed agent preferred
- Minimum of 10 closed transactions
- Strong negotiation and closing ability
- Confident in presenting pricing and handling objections
- Professional, personable, and trustworthy communicator
- Goal-oriented and driven to meet performance targets
