Real Estate Agent / Operations Assistant

About the Role

We’re looking for someone interested in a unique hybrid position combining:

  • Full-time real estate agent responsibilities
  • Part-time administrative support for a top-producing Hudson County real estate team lead

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • is currently getting their NJ real estate license,
  • already licensed but newer to the business,
  • or wants additional income and mentorship while building their own real estate career.

You’ll receive:

Real Estate Agent Duties

  • Generate leads for buyers, sellers, renters, and landlords
  • Guide clients through the buying, selling, and rental process
  • Show properties to prospective clients
  • Facilitate negotiations between parties
  • Prepare and manage contracts, lease agreements, and transaction paperwork
  • Promote listings through social media, online marketing, and open houses
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

Administrative Duties

  • Prepare commission packets and transaction paperwork
  • Coordinate client move-ins and transaction logistics
  • Communicate with clients, agents, landlords, and vendors
  • Assist with team scheduling and calendar management
  • Manage and update CRM systems (Follow Up Boss)
  • Support social media posting and content coordination
  • Organize digital and physical files and maintain records
  • Assist with miscellaneous operational and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Comfortable working independently
  • Positive, professional, and coachable
  • Interested in real estate, sales, and client service

Preferred Qualifications

  • NJ Real Estate License (or currently pursuing one)
  • Hudson County resident preferred
  • Social media savvy
  • Reliable transportation preferred
  • College degree preferred

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Flexible schedule
  • Hybrid remote position
  • Must be available to work from the Hoboken office at least once per week
  • Some evenings/weekends may be required based on client schedules
