8z Real Estate is one of Colorado's largest independent residential brokerages by annual sales volume and is home to one of the highest-producing agents. We are a high service boutique real estate brokerage with a unique and strong value proposition for Real Estate Professionals.

We need one more person on our team to help us grow with intentionality. That person is you if you're the kind of recruiter who is self motivated- articulate, presents well- can create your own lead generation- is not afraid of cold prospecting and can tell a compelling story without a script.

What This Role Actually Is

This is a full-cycle business development role with one focus – identifying, cultivating, and closing high-producing Colorado real estate agents who are ready to level up their career at 8z. You own the process from first touch to signed ICA.

Day to day, that means:

  • Building and working a live pipeline of prospective agents through direct outbound prospecting including phone, email, social, in-person, and creative outreach
  • Developing genuine, long-term relationships with agents who aren't ready yet but will be
  • Mastering and articulating the 8z value proposition.
  • Vetting candidates thoroughly before ever involving our leadership team to protect their valuable time
  • Managing scheduling for leadership conversations with qualified, high-target candidates only
  • Owning your CRM as a real operating system, not a checkbox
  • Collaborating with the CEO, Managing Brokers, and marketing on strategy and campaigns

What This Role Is Not

It's not order fulfillment. Agent prospects will not be handed to you. You are the lead generator, the relationship builder, and the closer.

Who We’re Looking For

You have 3+ years of experience in a recruiting or business development role, and you can point to real results – hires made, pipelines built, relationships you cultivated that others wouldn't have. You're a strong communicator that is polished, articulate, and credible whether you're on the phone with a $25M producer or presenting at a coffee meeting.

Experience in residential real estate or a related industry is a genuine plus. Not required, but you need to get up to speed fast and carry yourself like you belong in the conversation.

You are:

  • Self-directed and comfortable owning outcomes without handholding
  • A skilled prospector (you don't wait for inbound leads)
  • A confident, articulate storyteller who can communicate 8z's value with conviction
  • Organized enough to manage a live CRM pipeline and never let a prospect go cold
  • Comfortable traveling the Front Range for appointments.
  • Based in or near Denver

Compensation & Benefits

$72,000 Annual Base Salary

A generous bonus package based on performance.

Total target compensation range: $120,000–$150,000+ depending on production quality and volume of agents recruited.

Additional Benefits:

  • 401(k) with company match: 100% on first 3% of pay contributed, 50% on next 2%, eligible after 60 days
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): you become a co-owner of 8z after one year
  • Health, dental, vision, life, and accident insurance: 8z contributes up to $300/month towards your medical insurance premium. We offer four different Anthem plans including EPO, PPO, and HDHP/HSA as well as dental, vision, life, disability, accident, critical illness, hospitalization, and travel insurance coverage.
