We are seeking a Real Estate Analyst to join our team and provide comprehensive support to the firm’s real estate capital markets team. The analyst will play a critical role in our capital raising efforts by conducting financial analysis, market research, and delivering clear written and verbal presentations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of real estate financial metrics, market trends, and investment strategies. This position offers a great opportunity to develop expertise in structuring commercial real estate transactions and gain valuable on-the-job experience. Motivated individuals will be eligible for promotion and on track to sit for relevant securities exams.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial models using various underwriting, debt sizing, and valuation methods, including DCF, Direct Capitalization, Comparable Sale, IRR, and Sensitivity Analyses
  • Analyze market trends, economic indicators, interest rate movements, and real estate sector performance to inform investment decisions
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate the feasibility of potential real estate developments, recapitalizations, and acquisitions
  • Prepare internal and external investment presentations
  • Participate in all stages of the real estate transaction process, from inception to closing
  • Actively contribute to internal meetings, including deal discussions and pipeline meetings
  • Assist with marketing and business development initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business or a related field
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Google Suite (all candidates will be required to submit a writing sample and Excel analysis)
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey actionable information clearly through narrative text, statistical tables, graphs, and maps
  • A collaborative mindset with a demonstrated interest in commercial real estate and long-term goals to grow in the industry
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and think creatively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year plus discretionary bonus
