The Impact You’ll Make

As a Real Estate Investment Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping how Clemens Development deploys capital across different asset classes. Your analysis will directly influence high-dollar investment acquisition, adaptive reuse and development decisions, helping the business evaluate risk, prioritize opportunities, and make confident, data-driven choices that support operational growth and long-term value creation.

What You’ll Do

• Build and underwrite financial models and proformas for real estate investment and development opportunities
• Evaluate and prioritize a large pipeline of active opportunities using risk-adjusted return metrics
• Conduct market and submarket research to support assumptions around rents, demand, and growth
• Analyze financing structures, capital market conditions, and refinancing scenarios
• Prepare clear investment summaries and recommendations for senior leadership

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate investment analysis or market research
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, including IRR/XIRR, DCF, cash-on-cash returns, and scenario analysis
• Strong understanding of commercial leases and lease language
• Experience with market research and real estate tools such as Argus, CoStar, or similar platforms
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build scalable, defensible models from scratch
• Ability to manage multiple active opportunities simultaneously with minimal oversight
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
