Real Estate Investment Professional

PIF is seeking a candidate to join International Investments team to contribute to the identification and deployment of ‘Real Estate’ and ‘Infrastructure’ investment opportunities, investment performance monitoring, and qualification, as well as collaborate on relationship maintenance with fund managers and implement streamlined underwriting, documentation and reporting on the respective investments.


Specialized Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the identification, selection, and management of International Real Estate (RE) investments, ensuring alignment with the overall investment policy at PIF.
  • Collaborate on the process of underwriting, negotiating terms, and closing documentation for RE investments.
  • Prepare investment proposals, recommendations, and memos.
  • Contribute to maintaining relationships with external fund managers and partners.
  • Contribute to the process of selecting and monitoring external fund managers for International RE portfolios.
  • Analyze market developments and trends related to RE investments.
  • Conduct analysis of RE portfolio performance and prepare recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Prepare presentations and updates pertaining to International RE Investment proposals and performance for PIF Committees and Executive Management.
  • Contribute to the preparation of internal update reports and required updates for the PIF Board and related committees and/or other entities.


Common Accountabilities

  • Implement operational excellence improvement initiatives and propose improvements on systems, processes and practices taking into account international leading practices, in order to continuously enhance the organizational effectiveness and business performance.
  • Support the development of policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls as requested or propose relevant enhancements as needed, ensuring alignment and adherence to any relevant compliance, risk, audit, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications / Years of Experience

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Any relevant certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), etc.

  • Ability to establish credibility with stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business needs.
  • Strong organizational/project management skills, the ability to manage and achieve multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to motivate, guide, and inspire others to achieve common goals and vision.
