Tucker Griffin Barnes P.C. maintains a non-traditional firm structure that allows you to independently manage and develop your own practice, with supervision and mentorship from some of the most successful attorneys in Virginia. This position involves immediate and significant client interaction and direct experience in General District and Circuit Courts! While marketing and business development opportunities are available, they are not required, as we rely on our deep roots in Central Virginia and established referral networks to bring business to us.

Associate Compensation: We offer an annual salary with a unique opportunity to earn a significant monthly bonus, making potential total compensation competitive with the larger firm markets in the area. Each of our attorneys receives a monthly Profit and Loss statement. Associates keep 25% of their monthly profit as a bonus. This compensation model has been very successful and well supported. Our associates earn an average of $7,000.00 per month bonus.

Qualifications

• J.D. and an active Virginia Bar license
• 2 years’ experience as a practicing litigation attorney and strong desire to develop additional bench and jury trial skills
• Strong interest in developing real estate and civil litigation experience
• Self-starter with demonstrated experience in litigation
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Court room experience
• Ability to communicate regularly with clients on a range of practice group topics
• Ability to multi-task and operate against inflexible deadlines both in a team environment and independently
• Client development and marketing experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must love dogs! We have several in the office every day.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
