Real Estate Paralegal (3-5 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Real Estate Paralegal to join our legal team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting attorneys in residential and/or commercial real estate transactions, including contract management and client relations both pre-and post closing. Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all aspects of real estate transactions (commercial and/or residential)
• Draft and review of closing materials, closing documents, and other real estate-related agreements
• Liaise with clients, realtors, title companies, and lenders to coordinate transaction logistics
• Prepare and organize documentation for closings, including settlement statements
• Monitor contract deadlines, contingency periods, and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Maintain case files and ensure accurate recordkeeping

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred;
• Experience as a real estate paralegal, preferably in New Jersey is desired but not mandatory
• Proficiency with title review, closing procedures, and document preparation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to lean internal real estate legal software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in both residential and commercial transactions
• Familiarity with HUD-1 and ALTA settlement statements
• Notary Public in the State of New Jersey (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
