As a Settlement Attorney, you will manage residential settlements for assigned office(s), client acquisition and retention, conducting real estate settlements, and advising/providing support to assigned or centralized employees.

Business development will be a key focus of your role. You will actively seek opportunities to increase revenue by attracting new agents and nurturing existing relationships. As a representative of MBH, you will attend marketing functions such as sales meetings, educational classes, conventions, and social events. These engagements will play a vital role in expanding our business.

Managing client accounts and complying with federal, state, and local employment regulations and settlement guidelines will be integral to your responsibilities. Your efforts will contribute to achieving targeted financial results. Additionally, you will ensure the proper execution of company policies, procedures, and programs while collaborating with the Corporate Office on operational and underwriting functions.

To excel in this position, you must exhibit a strong willingness to collaborate with managers, staff. and company branches. You will monitor the effectiveness of communication and processes throughout the lifecycle of files, always striving to provide the highest level of customer service possible. This role entails frequent travel within the MBH footprint.

Qualified candidates will have obtained a Juris Doctor degree, will be admitted to the VA bar, possess a strong interest in learning and demonstrate knowledge of the title industry, possess a positive and friendly personality with incredible interpersonal and communication skills, and possess the drive to excel in business development to maintain and grow our business.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
