$15 hourly for the first 4 weeks of training

Job description:

We’re looking for a reliable, versatile, and growth-oriented Part-Time Real Estate Photographer in Huntsville, AL. This is a flexible, client-facing role where you’ll capture beautiful homes, create engaging marketing content, and represent our brand with professionalism.

About the Role

• Travel to properties across Huntsville and surrounding areas (up to 1 hour drive)
• Shoot real estate photos, videos, drone content, 3D scans, and virtual tours (all gear provided)
• Capture agent on-camera video content and market-ready visuals
• Perform twilight shoots when needed
• Represent the brand with professionalism, friendliness, and reliability
• Follow a clear checklist and workflow for each shoot
• Upload raw photo and video files (no editing required)
• Support in upselling services such as video, drone, or premium media packages

Schedule

• Part-time, Monday - Friday
• Occasional evening twilight shoots required

Pay Structure

• Paid training provided at $15/hr
• Increases to $25 per unit after obtaining FAA Part 107 drone certification
• Mileage reimbursement offered at $0.30/mile
• Additional pay for video and creative project work based on scope

Pay is piece-rate and based on scheduled on-site shoot time (not hourly from door-to-door). Drive time is not compensated hourly but partially reimbursed through mileage.

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and Valid Drivers Insurance
• High-speed internet at home for file uploads
• iPhone 13 or higher ( Our apps and systems only work on iPhones) Please dont apply if you have an android as we can't work with those.
• Strong communication and people skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn

What the Hiring & Training Process Looks Like

We believe in clarity and earning each step.

• Google Meet interview
• In-person shadow of a real shoot
• Conditional offer
• FAA Part 107 drone exam (must be scheduled and passed early)
• Photo training → drone → video (progression-based, not time-based)

What You’ll Do (After Training)

• Capture photo/video for homes for sale using our equipment and process
• Upload media after each shoot
• Communicate professionally with real estate agents
• Represent our brand well on every property

• Interest in learning drone or video work
• Customer service or client-facing experience
• Self-starter mindset and strong follow-through

• We are not hiring current photographers
• We are intentionally building and training someone from the ground up
• This role rewards consistency, discipline, and ownership
• This is not a freelance gig- we only hire W2 employees
