Real Estate Videographer - New Home Communities (Freelance Contract)

Stillwater Productions is a real estate media company producing video content for new home communities across LA and Ventura Counties. We're looking for an established freelance videographer for 2-3 shoot days per week at the new home communities we service - primarily in the El Monte / San Gabriel Valley area, with regular shoot days in Ventura County. A shoot day may cover multiple communities or videos.

NO EDITING REQUIRED. This is a capture-only role - our in-house editing team handles all post-production. You shoot, script, and upload; we take it from there.

This is a business-to-business engagement: we are contracting with your videography business, not hiring an employee. You set your own methods, use your own equipment, and are free to (and expected to) maintain your own client base.

What you'll do:

- Work 2-3 shoot days per week filming new home community videos (model homes, community amenities, surrounding area)

- Develop the shot list and on-camera script/structure for each video - you own the creative capture; our editing team owns all post-production

- Capture aerial footage (drone work is part of nearly every shoot)

- Upload raw footage within 24 hours of each shoot

- Coordinate scheduling with our operations team; shoots are weekday daytime

What you must have to be considered:

- Demonstrated real estate videography experience - community, model home, or listing video work

- A portfolio of real estate video work completed in 2026. Include the link with your application. Applications without a current (2026) portfolio link will not be reviewed.

- Your own professional kit: camera body capable of 4K, lenses, gimbal/stabilizer, basic audio

- Drone + current FAA Part 107 certification (required, not optional)

- An established business entity (LLC or sole proprietorship with a business license) and the ability to invoice us

- General liability insurance (or willingness to obtain a certificate of insurance before first shoot)

- Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel between the San Gabriel Valley and Ventura County

Nice to have:

- Experience shooting for production homebuilders (KB Home, Lennar, Tri Pointe, etc.)

- On-camera directing experience (working with sales agents or hosts)

- Color-managed workflow (Log/RAW capture)

Schedule and volume:

- 2-3 shoot days per week, weekday daytime (a day may include multiple communities)

- Consistent, ongoing volume - this is a recurring engagement, not a one-off gig

- Footage due within 24 hours of each shoot
