REBAR DETAILER

A Rebar Detailer creates detailed drawings for steel reinforcement in concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design plans. Responsibilities include interpreting architects' blueprints, calculating material quantities, and coordinating with construction teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Create detailed drawings of rebar placement for construction projects.

2. Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and codes.

3. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve design issues.

4. Calculate and estimate materials needed for each project.

5. Review and interpret construction blueprints and schematics.

6. Communicate changes and updates to project team as needed.

7. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in rebar detailing technology.

8. Ensure timely completion of projects and meet project deadlines requirements.

9. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings.

10. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

11. Ability to use software and tools for rebar detailing, such as Armour & Cads RC.

12. Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to rebar detailing, as per QCS 2014/ 2024.

13. Experience with reinforcing steel fabrication, installation, and construction practices.

14. Attention to detail and accuracy in creating rebar shop drawings.

15. Effective communication skills to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members.

16. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

17. Occasionally visit construction sites to gather information or clarify details.

Qualifications for details:

1. Diploma in Civil Engineering

2. Specific Steel rebar design experience is a plus

3. Prior detailing experience highly required

4. Customer focus and attention to detail

5. Knowledge in Cads RC & Knowledge in Armour

6. MS Office
