Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Rebar Engineering & Detailing Lead (BBS & Shop Drawings) - Civil/Structural Engineer, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Rebar Engineering & Detailing Lead will be responsible for overseeing rebar detailing, creating bar bending schedules (BBS), and preparing precise shop drawings. This role includes managing the detailing team, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and coordinating with suppliers and construction teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Rebar Detailing, Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), and preparing Shop Drawings
• Experience leading and managing detailing teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, RebarCAD, and other relevant software for detailing and shop drawing preparation
• Strong understanding of construction industry standards and practices related to rebar reinforcement
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with suppliers and construction teams
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred
• Experience in the construction and steel reinforcement industry is beneficial

Who You Are

• 2–3 years’ UAE experience in rebar detailing, BBS, and shop drawing production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, RebarCAD, CADS RC, or Tekla.
• Familiar with ACI / BS detailing standards.
• Passionate about AI and automation in engineering.
• Energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to lead.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
