- Operate shear machines to accurately cut rebar, sheet metal, and ductwork components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical instructions to ensure precise fabrication
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to measure materials and verify dimensions before cutting or assembly
- Set up and adjust power tools such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and fabrication machinery for optimal performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times during operation of machinery including forklifts and rigging equipment
- Assist with fabrication tasks involving welding (MIG, TIG, FCAW), soldering, pipe threading, and assembly of structural components
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while ensuring quality standards are upheld according to ASME codes & standards
<Qualifications>
- Proven construction site experience with familiarity in fabricating reinforcement materials or sheet metal components
- Proficient in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge for accurate fabrication processes
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, press brake machines, plasma cutters, and power tools
- Ability to use precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers for quality control purposes
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements, quantities, and material requirements
- Strong safety awareness with adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies
