Receiving Specialist

Multilink Position: Receiving Specialist - Quality

This position is responsible for responsible for unloading delivered products, inspecting products to the required specifications, completing inspection reports, and delivering received products to the specified department.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Receipt and inspection of purchased products and materials
• Delivers bought out products to the specified location
• Receives the inspected products into ERP system
• Ability to operate a tow motor
• Proficient knowledge and use of calipers and scales
• Report RMA and N/C to coordinator and supervisor
• Identify and facilitate quality improvement ideas with the Quality Supervisor and Manager.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures with a proven ability to resolve the quality issue.
• Cleans and maintains an orderly work area using the 5S procedure set up.
• Communicates effectively with other inspectors and operators to enhance workflow.
• Promotes teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to company policies, process, and procedures
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent may be required.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measure, calipers, and other shop drawing aids.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.
• Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
• Safety conscious behavior.
• Excellent attendance.
• Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 – 50 lbs frequently.
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.
• Sit, stand and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day.
• Close mental and visual attention required, coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Work Site Environment

• Ability to work in a 55 – 85 degree Fahrenheit work environment.
