Receiving Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse team. The Receiver will be responsible for managing the receipt of goods, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment. This role is crucial in supporting our shipping and receiving operations, contributing to efficient order fulfillment and overall warehouse management.

Duties

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring all items match purchase orders.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
• Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks as necessary.
• Perform order picking, packing, and preparation for shipment according to established guidelines.
• Maintain an organized storage area by stocking shelves and ensuring proper labeling of products.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in the reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Operate RF scanners to facilitate efficient tracking of inventory movements.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow within the warehouse environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution practices and e-commerce operations is a plus.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software such as AS400.
• Basic math skills are required for inventory management tasks.
• Experience with packaging, order fulfillment, picking & packing processes is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.61 - $26.03 per hour
