- Warmly greet patients, visitors, and vendors; provide directions and information; manage patient anxiety and questions; handle check-ins/check-outs.
- Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
- Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient’s arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
- Maintain patient records (updating details, filing, retrieving); process forms (insurance, medical); handle billing, co-pays, and payments; manage office supplies.
- Liaise with doctors, nurses, and other departments; coordinate patient flow; assist with admissions and referrals.
