Title: Receptionist

Overview: The receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients and guests. As such the ideal candidate should be friendly, welcoming, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their duties may include greeting guests as they come in, managing the check-in and check-out process, answering questions and requests, and helping with administrative tasks at the front desk. The receptionist must be trustworthy and able to work well with little direct supervision. The satisfaction and comfort of each guest is our top priority, and the receptionist’s attitude and behavior should reflect that at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients and guests and assist them with check-in and check-out.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails to the appropriate staff member
  • Manage guest bookings and reservations.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, copying, and data entry.
  • Respond to all questions, inquiry, and requests.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a hotel receptionist or guest services role
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role
  • Experience working in the hospitality or service industry.
  • Knowledge of Arabic and/or other languages spoken in the region

Working Conditions:

  • This position will require standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
  • The receptionist will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • They will be expected to manage a high volume of calls, emails, and visitors on a daily basis.
  • The receptionist will be required to work some evenings and weekends, based on business needs.
