Position Summary:

Responsibilities include performing general office/administrative duties, greeting customers and guests, answering phones, and supporting our fabulous team of Customer Service Representatives.

Responsibilities:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Answer and field all incoming calls in a professional and cheerful manner.
  • General administrative functions such as filing, faxing, photocopying, scanning, etc.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by providing first-class customer service.
  • Maintain a basic knowledge and understanding of company policies/procedures, facilities, teams, and equipment.
  • Learn basic materials, colors, product lines along with Global Shop Software for order entry and/or basic product processing when time permits.
  • Foster a healthy working relationship with all employees and customers through positive daily interactions that promotes a productive working environment.
  • Locate and send order tracking information to our customers.
  • Pull, send, and stock samples, while maintaining the sample room.
  • Aid the order processing team in streamlining client interactions and order processes.
  • Support the Customer Service Manager and Customer Service Rep’s as needed.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • High School or Equivalent

Experience:

  • Microsoft Excel: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Google Docs: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 4 years (Preferred)
  • Receptionist: 3 years (Required)

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and basic product offerings. (Must be able to navigate a network drive, use a multi-line phone system, etc.)
  • Coachable attitude with a drive and determination to learn new skill sets
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service with a positive “can do” attitude.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • A self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
  • A team player with the desire to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Responsible individual, with an impeccable work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented individual who is highly organized and innovative

Bonus If You Have …

  • Prior manufacturing shop receptionist experience.
  • Experience using ERP manufacturing software, such as Global Shop Solutions.
  • Knowledge of building industry materials, such as melamine, laminates, and cabinetry components.
