Receptionist

Job Summary
Barth Clinic is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and detail-oriented Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our organization. This position plays a vital role in supporting daily operations by managing front desk responsibilities, coordinating communications, and providing exceptional service to patients, staff, and callers.

The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of individuals experiencing the disease of addiction, while maintaining a respectful and recovery-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls efficiently using proper communication protocols
  • Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office software
  • Assist with calendar management and scheduling appointments for staff or clients
  • Support office management tasks such as organizing documents, proofreading correspondence, and maintaining supplies
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries accurately and courteously, both in person and over the phone
  • Maintain and adhere to strict HIPAA compliance.
  • Maintain a tidy front desk area and ensure all clerical duties are completed in a timely manner

Experience

  • Previous office or administrative experience is highly preferred, especially in roles such as counseling or medical receptionist or personal assistant roles
  • Proven proficiency with computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry skills
  • Experience managing multi-line phone systems and demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse clients or visitors
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with office management procedures such as filing systems, proofreading documents, and calendar management
  • Knowledge of clerical practices including typing accuracy, proofreading skills, and record keeping

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
