Job Summary

The Salon Receptionist greets clients, schedules appointments, handles phone calls, processes payments, and supports the salon team with administrative tasks while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients when they arrive and make them feel welcome
  • Answer phone calls and messages and respond to customer inquiries
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for stylists or therapists
  • Check clients in and out of appointments
  • Process payments (cash, card, or digital payments)
  • Maintain client records and update contact details
  • Keep the reception and waiting area clean and organized
  • Promote salon services and products to clients
  • Handle cancellations and rescheduling
  • Coordinate with stylists and technicians about appointment schedules
