Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, visitors, and vendor with professionalism and courtesy
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff as needed
- Provide detailed information regarding services, products, and insurance coverage
- Collaborate with hearing aid specialists, audiologists, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
- Manage patient check-ins/outs, schedule and confirm appointments, and send timely reminders via phone, email, or text
- Verify and update patient information, including personal and insurance details, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Process patient payments, manage insurance billing, and handle cash/credit transactions
- Address patient complaints or concerns and escalate to appropriate staff when necessary
- Assist with filing, data entry, other clerical tasks, while maintaining strict confidentiality of all records
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Receptionist in a medical setting.
- Strong background in front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, and managing patient flow.
- Familiarity with insurance verification process.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to provide high-quality customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Available to join on short notice
