Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Receptionist with experience in the pet industry to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. The ideal candidate will not only excel in customer service and administrative tasks but also show a willingness to learn basic grooming skills. Prior grooming experience, especially with dogs, is a strong advantage and will open opportunities for future growth within our salon.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere.
• Manage appointment scheduling, client records, and salon communications.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries with efficiency and care.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe salon environment.
• Support the grooming team with basic tasks, and gradually learn grooming techniques.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Uphold salon standards and contribute to the overall brand experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the pet industry (reception, customer service, or related roles).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn basic grooming skills; prior grooming experience is highly preferred.
• Passion for animals and commitment to their well-being.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
