Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
- Register new patients and update existing patient records.
- Verify insurance information and collect necessary documentation.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs.
- Maintain accurate medical and administrative records.
- Handle billing inquiries and collect payments when required.
- Coordinate communication between patients, physicians, nurses, and other staff.
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with healthcare privacy regulations.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional healthcare administration training is an advantage).
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
