Job Summary

The receptionist at KITCC plays a crucial role in providing a positive first impression to patients, visitors and staff. They are responsible for managing the front desk, assisting with administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities

1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors and staff warmly and professionally.

2. Answer and direct phone calls politely and efficiently.

3. Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, tidy and presentable.

4. Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars for doctors.

5. Register new patients and update existing patient information.

6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.

7. Manage gate passes, invoices and patient records.

8. Receive cash from patients and submit it to accounts at the end of the day.

9. Arrange patients or parents for shariah meetings and other events.

10. Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about KITCC services.

11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

12. Perform other duties as assigned by management/ incharge. Qualification

1. Education:

  • Graduate or equivalent.

2. Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Experience

Proven work experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical setting.
