We are looking for a professional Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth front-desk operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the healthcare facility’s appointment system
  • Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and patient follow-ups
  • Verify patient information, update records, and ensure accuracy of all data
  • Process patient files, insurance cards, and referral documents when required
  • Coordinate with nurses, doctors, and other departments to facilitate patient flow
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information according to healthcare standards
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and ready for daily operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or customer service staff in a healthcare setting (preferably in clinics, hospitals, medical centers, or related sectors)
  • Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
  • Professional demeanour with a patient-centric approach
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office and appointment management systems
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and handle high patient volumes
  • Currently based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi preferred)

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certification in healthcare administration or customer service is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,111.00 - AED2,222.00 per month
