About the Role
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our service centre. The Receptionist will manage front-desk tasks, ensure smooth customer flow, handle inquiries, and support operational teams in maintaining a high-quality service environment.
This role requires excellent communication skills, a welcoming attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers/applicants in a courteous and professional manner.
- Manage the front-desk area, ensuring an organized and efficient reception environment.
- Guide customers on the service flow and direct them to the appropriate counters or waiting areas.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide basic information, and support customers with initial instructions.
- Manage appointment lists, tokens, and queue systems where applicable.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth customer movement.
- Ensure visitors adhere to centre rules and maintain order during peak hours.
- Answer phone calls, respond to queries, and redirect calls to relevant departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of the reception area.
- Follow SOPs, security protocols, and confidentiality requirements.
- Support administrative tasks when needed (basic documentation, logging, updating information).
- Assist in emergency or escalation situations by guiding customers appropriately.
- Uphold high grooming standards and professional behavior at all times.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- Minimum: High School Certificate
- Preferred: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience:
- Prior experience in front-desk, customer service, hospitality, or service-centre roles preferred
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and customer-service orientation
- Ability to handle high footfall and multitask effectively
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry)
- Ability to remain calm, polite, and composed under pressure

- Willingness to work in shifts and peak periods
