Curious Curls Kids Salon | Part-Time (20 hrs/week)

Are you friendly, energetic, creative, and great with people? Curious Curls Kids Salon is looking for a Receptionist & Social Media Manager who loves creating joyful first impressions—both in person and online.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, upbeat environment and takes pride in keeping things organized, welcoming, and fun. You’ll be the smiling face families see when they walk in and the creative eye that helps share our magic on social media.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone in beauty school or aspiring to become a stylist.

Schedule

• Wednesday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional weekend shifts
• Approximately 20 hours per week

What You’ll Do

• Greet children and families with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism
• Manage front desk operations, including booking and managing appointments using salon software
• Assist stylists with rebooking, sanitation, and maintaining smooth salon flow
• Keep the salon clean, organized, and inviting (approximately 50% of the role)
• Merchandise and organize our retail boutique and support retail sales
• Capture high-quality photos and short-form videos of hair services and salon moments
• Manage and support the salon’s social media presence by:
• Posting content consistently (Instagram, TikTok)
• Following brand guidelines and tone
• Creating a monthly social media calendar
• Helping brainstorm creative content ideas and trends
• Assist the salon owner with special projects and day-to-day tasks as needed

• Comfortable being on your feet for part of the day
• Takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and presentation

Spanish language skills are not required but are a big plus!

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
