Receptionist/Admin Support (On-Site)

SUMMARY:

Doyle Security Products, a 100-year-old security hardware distributor, is looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Support to be the friendly first point of contact for our customers and guests. The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk, greeting visitors, handling incoming calls, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Located on the Mississippi near the North Loop of Minneapolis (FREE Parking).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer and screen telephone calls in a timely manner and take accurate messages with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Meet and greet visitors in a warm and professional manner. Maintain the front public areas, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries. Mail daily and weekly correspondence, including customer and vendor invoices and payables.
  • Scan and file documents and maintain an organized filing system.
  • Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to emailing, filing, photocopying, and mailing. Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or three plus years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional certification in office management and/or Microsoft 365 is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards. Acute attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ERP Software.
