Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Legal Receptionist/Administrative Assistant - Medical to join our professional team. Duties
- Checking in and out patients, insurance verification, prior authorization, referrals.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls accurately and professionally using proper phone etiquette
- Checking on the progress of tests and other patient evaluation data
- follow up on patient reports and requests
- Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and coordinate meetings for legal and medical staff
- Handle data entry, filing, and document management with precision, ensuring confidentiality and organization
- Assist with office management tasks such as supply inventory, mail distribution, and record keeping
- Provide customer support by answering inquiries promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone
Skills
- 6 months to 1 year experience as a medical receptionist preferred
- Excellent oral and written communicaiton skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Detail oriented, time-efficient, especially in a busy work environment
- Ability to type quickly and accurately
- Bilingual is a plus
- Previous EMR Expenriense
- Previous Billing Experience is a plus
- Proven experience in front desk operations within a medical or legal office setting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions
- Experience with clerical tasks such as proofreading, data entry, filing, and calendar management
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the day
- Personal assistant experience or administrative experience preferred to support attorneys or medical professionals
