Job Summary

As the Reception / Barista, you will be the welcoming face of Zen Shu, enhancing each client’s visit with thoughtful touches and seamless hospitality. Your role will be to ensure guests feel pampered during their visit. You will be responsible for making reservations, checking coats, preparing and serving beverages and engaging in warm, friendly conversations when welcomed.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, spring water, and light snacks during nail and wellness treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage and refreshment station.
• Provide coat check services and ensure guests’ belongings are handled with care.
• Monitor customer needs throughout their visit, offering personalized service and anticipating preferences.
• Engage in friendly, professional conversations with guests who welcome interaction.
• Assist with light lounge maintenance to ensure a pristine and relaxing environment.
• Uphold the Zen Shu standard of hospitality by delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• Charismatic & Personable – Naturally warm and engaging with excellent communication skills.
• Energetic & Attentive – A proactive individual who notices details that enhance the customer experience.
• Service-Oriented – Previous experience as a server, barista, or in hospitality is a plus.
• Multitasking Ability – Can efficiently serve beverages while managing guest interactions and maintaining organization.
• Team Player – Works well with staff to create a seamless experience for guests.
• Professionalism – Maintains a polished appearance and a gracious, service-focused demeanor.
