Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Receptionist/Human Resource Manager Assistant to join our vibrant team. This role combines front desk responsibilities with vital support for our HR functions, ensuring seamless communication, efficient administrative operations, and effective human capital management. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a positive workplace environment. You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees alike while assisting with a broad range of HR initiatives to promote organizational growth and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and manage incoming inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Maintain a welcoming reception area that reflects our company’s culture and values.
- Maintain office reception area and conference rooms.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
- Assist in onboarding new employees through orientation sessions, benefits administration, and HRIS data entry to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Maintain office files and administrative records.
- Contribute to employee evaluation processes by gathering data, supporting performance management activities, and assisting with training & development programs.
- Help manage employee relations by addressing routine inquiries, supporting conflict management initiatives, and facilitating internal communication efforts via social media management tools.
- Support HR projects related to change management, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and organization design to align workforce strategies with business goals.
- Provide administrative support to leadership team members as assigned.
- Assist with special projects and operational initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Extensive administrative experience including data collection, data entry, and contract management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities using project management techniques; adept at organization design and strategic planning.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree preferred.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
