Part-time (20-30 hours per week) receptionist/legal assistant position available at firm that specializes in Family Law (including dissolutions, parenting plans, and child support cases).
You will assist the attorney and other staff by answering the phones and additional legal assistant tasks. The successful candidate needs a great attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask.
You will be expected to track court deadlines, conduct legal research, as well as communicate with clients, Judges, and other attorneys. Additionally, you will need to maintain client's electronic files, draft various legal documents/pleadings, and be timely on all court matters.
In the receptionist role, you would be required to meet and interact with clients in-person, you would process and manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence, you would answer any and all incoming calls, schedule consultations, make runs to the courthouse when filing documents, and much more.
Prior legal experience is required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Prior legal assistant experience.
High-School Diploma; or GED
