Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Receptionist/Shampoo Assistant to join our dynamic team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for clients, manage front desk operations, and assist with shampooing and hair treatments. Duties

• Greet clients warmly upon arrival and manage appointment scheduling using office management software.
• Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, professionally, and with excellent phone etiquette.
• Assist stylists by performing shampooing.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including filing, data entry, and managing client records.
• Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment confirmations, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar tools.
• Provide exceptional customer support by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
• Handle incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and support administrative functions to keep the salon running smoothly.

Requirements

• Previous office experience or clerical experience is preferred; familiarity with front desk operations is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data entry tools.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is essential.
• Experience with office management software such as QuickBooks or similar is advantageous.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to perform shampooing duties comfortably and efficiently.
