Receptionist/Social Media Manager

Overview

Duties

  • Greet visitors, clients, and vendors with professionalism and warmth at the front desk, managing multi-line phone systems and providing excellent customer support.
  • Handle all incoming calls with proper phone etiquette, directing inquiries efficiently across departments.
  • Manage office operations including data entry, filing, calendar management, and maintaining office supplies to ensure a seamless workflow.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across various social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and community engagement.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and reviews; respond promptly to foster positive relationships with followers.
  • Assist with clerical tasks such as proofreading documents, managing email correspondence, and supporting administrative projects as needed.
  • Utilize software tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and basic bookkeeping applications to support daily functions.
  • Support special projects including event planning or marketing campaigns that promote organizational initiatives or services.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold excellent organizational skills to balance front desk responsibilities with social media duties effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong clerical skills.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a medical/dental office setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, calendar management, data entry, filing systems, and office software such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Strong computer literacy including proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and basic content creation tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Veteran status is encouraged, but not necessary.
  • Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and personal presentation.
  • Experience with bookkeeping or QuickBooks is advantageous for handling financial tasks related to the role.
  • Personal assistant experience or legal receptionist background will be considered a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently while maintaining attention to detail. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
