Role Overview:

The Recipe Management Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing product recipes and formulations across the company’s fruit and citrus-based portfolio. This role ensures recipe accuracy, compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and alignment with market expectations. The specialist serves as the central point for recipe documentation, version control, and coordination between R&D, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain.


In your role you will:

  • Improve formulations for quality, cost efficiency, and performance, collaborating with R&D, Production, and Scale‑Up teams to validate recipes, lead product trials, and ensure smooth process transfers and first‑run success.
  • Work closely with Process Scientists and Scale‑Up teams on new ingredients, adapting existing formulas and exploring new applications; participate in tasting panels for QC deviation testing.
  • Maintain an accurate, audit‑ready recipe database with standardized formats, detailed specifications, yields, and controlled version tracking.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal standards, global food regulations, and customer requirements, in partnership with Quality teams to meet microbiological, chemical, and sensory criteria.
  • Provide complete recipe documentation and technical insights during audits and quality assessments to support regulatory and customer compliance.


The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in recipe/formulation management within the F&B sector.


Nice to have:

  • Experience with citrus or fruit-based products is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for recipe/BOM management.


Location : Giza- Egypt (Office based)
