Job Title: Reconstruction Project Manager / Estimator
Position Summary
The Reconstruction Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for managing residential and commercial reconstruction projects resulting from water, fire, mold, and storm damage. This role includes estimating, customer communication, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and project completion.
Duties:
- Conduct property inspections and prepare accurate Xactimate estimates for reconstruction projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, insurance scopes, and related documentation to determine project requirements.
- Meet with property owners, insurance adjusters, and stakeholders to review project scopes and expectations.
- Prepare reconstruction proposals and secure signed contracts.
- Manage reconstruction projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards.
- Schedule subcontractors, vendors, and inspections.
- Order materials and coordinate deliveries.
- Monitor project costs and profitability throughout construction.
- Manage change orders and scope revisions as needed.
- Maintain consistent communication with homeowners, property managers, insurance representatives, and subcontractors.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with mitigation teams to ensure a seamless transition from mitigation to reconstruction.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, project documentation, contracts, and job costs.
- Identify potential project risks and develop solutions to maintain project schedules and profitability.
- Conduct final walkthroughs and obtain customer completion documentation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restoration reconstruction, residential construction, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques.
- Experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters.
- Proficiency with Xactimate, Encircle, Albi, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and related software platforms.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Property damage reconstruction experience.
- Experience managing subcontractors and vendors.
- Water, fire, mold, or storm restoration experience.

Pay: $67,000 - $80,000 per year
